Looked lovely as I walked out with the dog this morning, bar one anomalous looking dark cloud. Listening to the radio, I realised it wasn't a cloud but the smoke plume from a fire at a plastics recycling place in Smethwick. The West Midlands Fire Service released a pretty hair-raising photo. Their latest report says it was started by a chinese lantern, which seems entirely stupid and ridiculous.

Coventry's egregiously long 360 bus route, mapped and up on OpenStreetMap in no time at all.

Got a one star review for the CycleStreets app - The most unintuitive interface I've ever used! Where do you start to plan a route is still a mystery.. There are onscreen instructions and a menu item called 'Plan a route'. But hey, life is short so give me that one star.

Broadband connection up and down like a proverbial's whatsit. Hadn't realised what a pain in the bum unintentional disconnection had become.
