Subject: Television Show Interview

I am the host of a television show that airs on several stations throughout the greater Cincinnati region which in the near future is also going to be available as a streamed program on the Internet. The purpose of this letter is to invite you to appear as a guest on our show. Our New Zeal Show centers around providing families with the tools to make wise choices. We would love the chance to interview you, should you be passing through Cincinnati. With our digital filming equipment, this would be a relatively straightforward process and we could even interview you at the airport if you only have a short layover.

We feel your input will add a depth of perception from which our viewers can glean valuable tips and techniques for living. This show is not about a search for perfection. Instead, it is a collection of insights from people like yourself who have taken the time to explain what they personally perceive to be some of the secrets to success. Imagine that you are talking to a group of youth and their parents. Ask yourself, What would I want to impart that will equip these people for life? Your answer to that question will shape the direction we take in the interview. We are not hard-hitting journalists who will surprise you with embarrassing questions. Our objective is to highlight your strengths. You will be interviewed in a relaxed, casual setting where in a conversational format you will be encouraged to highlight one or two important keys to successful living. The interview will last 10-15 minutes. During this time we will profile whatever project you are involved in at present. Though we are not in a position to offer you any compensation for your appearance on our show, we are in the process of setting up an on-line mall in which we could make your material available. If you choose to support our non-profit organization we would be grateful for the much-needed assistance, however no pressure will be put on you to do so.

FAMILY EXTRAVAGANZA
We are planning two major events over the summer of 2002 in which we hope you can be involved. One is a nationwide three hour extravaganza for the whole family, humorously entitled “If At First You Don’t Succeed, So Much for Skydiving,” This free-admission outreach seminar is geared to show individuals how they can learn how to survive even avoid life’s casualties. It is based on the premise that we don’t always get a second chance to learn certain principles in retrospect. This outreach seminar aims at underlying the importance of maintaining balance (relationally, physically, financially, spiritually etc) and acquiring life skills before they need it. Our goal is to make the seminar available for free to the public with sales of books/music etc. providing a financial return for those who speak or sing at any of the events as we will not be in a position to cover any of your expenses. please contact us to arrange an interview on the New Zeal Show.
