Tut tut- could do better - definitely old before your time! Would give it a go myself if I wasn't so busy. Maybe next year - only not in Birmingham - obviously :)

Complain to the Advertising Standards Authority. As you point out, it's probably a false claim.

We have swans on the river opposite us. They will be there - and then not. Perhaps the food supply ran out, or it just got bored.

Sorry but you're wrong about the bedrooms vs bathrooms bit. Bathrooms are the new kitchens - in that it used to be essential to have the kitchen makeover bit to sell a house, now you need ensuite-master-bedroom plus extra bathroom(s). C'est la vie.

Can't be organic and unwaxed lemons if you've had them more than 3 days and they're not shriveldy ;-)

Well, should manage it when I can actually get the download - keeps timing out coz of heavy traffic. I'm already a very happy Thunderbird user - prefer it to Jez's favourite Pegasus. Have just spent the best part of 3 very stressful working days getting "support" for the machine that crashed at work (with all our accounts stuff on it) first they said it was software but now an engineer is coming (allegedly) tomorrow to replace the hard drive. I did manage to retrieve all data. The Dell software support line had over an hours wait time for support today - after you'd already waited 15 mins to even speak to someone - all charged at premium rate of course, you just have to sit there waiting on the line - because of heavy call volumes about the latest viruses they said - i rang off......but its no wonder that we sometimes call those closer to us for help in our hour of need!

Suggest you could try Late Junction on R3 around 10.30 ish (or of course online streamed prog. on demand) - not for your old fart rock but for sizzling froots, elizabethan pavanes, modern classical - and actually come to think of it Fran Zappa etc. Of course all the old f**** are very unhappy at the direction R3 is going in!!

well i've managed to avoid this virus even tho i'm an outlook user at home and at work - but haven't had a spam problem so p'raps that helps. However always being open to advice downloaded pegasus but couldn't make it receive my mail - more luck with Thunderbird and have now loaded Firebird as my browser - and it stops those pop ups from Guardian that they wanted me to subscribe £20 to get rid of!!! Hot stuff!

I thought it was not so much that he had a gun but the fact that he shot the boy in the back - therefore the intruder was going away from, not towards, Mr Martin that led to the conviction.

Very pleased that things seem to be back on track. But will really rest easy when a buyer is found for my own place!!
